Letter regarding Frank Leslie Ryburn's tree in Memorial Park

Here is a letter dated August 1928 from Mr J. Ryburn of ‘Oaklands’, Ngahinapouri. It provides details of his brother’s service so a memorial tree may be planted at Memorial Park in his honour. Private Frank Ryburn, of Paterangi served at Gallipoli, was wounded and evacuated to London before returning to France via Egypt. He was killed in action on 16 September 1916.

Mr Ryburn also indicated his desire to make a donation to the Park Managers fund towards the upkeep of the park.
