For the next intake of Sew Smooth Intermediate we have two courses both starting on 22 October:

  • In the morning classes at 10am-12pm we will be sewing jackets with your choice of two patterns, one with a light fabric (e.g. cotton or linen) or a medium weight jacket with options to change the pattern to make it your own.

  • In the afternoon classes at 12.30-2.30pm we will be sewing aprons for adults or children.

The sewing machines, thread, and necessary tools will be provided, or you can bring your own machine; however, you must purchase your own fabric and other materials. Details about the materials needed will be provided upon registration.

These workshops are for people who have attended the Sew Smooth Beginners course or those who are comfortable using sewing machines.

The number of our library sewing machines is limited, so if you have your own sewing machine, we encourage you to bring it. Please only sign up if you can attend all six dates. Please note that due to demand you will only be allowed to sign up for one of the courses, either the morning or afternoon.

Registration for the 22 October - 26 November course is now closed.
