Do you have a ukulele at home that is collecting dust? Does your child want to learn a new instrument? Come along and learn to play basic ukulele! These sessions are aimed at participants who are absolute beginners. We will cover a few easy chord shapes, strumming patterns, and sing some songs together, with resources for your child to take home and continue to play!

This session is free - however, your child will need to provide their own ukulele. We would recommend buying a ‘student uke’ set from the Rockshop. Otherwise, there are more affordable options at Shearer’s Music Works or The Warehouse.

If kids want to join this workshop but can't access a ukulele, they can email the facilitator to see if a ukulele can be loaned for the class duration.

Please register your interest below as we only have limited spots available for each session.

Please note children under 14 must always be accompanied by a caregiver in our libraries.
