As our hot air balloons complete their final descent, join us for a spectacular celebration to mark the end of your summer reading adventure!

The Landing Party is your chance to gather with fellow explorers and celebrate all the stories, stamps, and sky-high achievements from Lift Off with Hamilton City Libraries! Te Ohomauri, Haaweratia! Summer Reading Programme.

Expect a fun-filled afternoon with:

• Interactive games and activities

• Craft stations and creative fun

• Face painting

•  Prize giveaways

• Live entertainment such as stilt walkers

• An amazing Science Show and other surprises

Whether you soared through stacks of books or just enjoyed a few favourite tales, this event is for all our young readers and their whaanau. Let’s land together in style and celebrate a summer well read!
