Stories of Hamilton,
In July 1933, it was announced in the Waikato Times that Pollock and Milne had taken over Robinson's, a drapery business at 139 Victoria St.
In April 1968 the business expanded into the newly created P & M Plaza. The complex contained fabrics, wedding outfits, craft material and other small stalls including sweets. The plaza also included Hamilton's first pedestrian escalator.
Do you remember shopping at Pollock and Milne? Perhaps you bought Christmas presents there?
