Come and have fun with the Re-Creators this school holidays! 
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays for two weeks we have kids’ events for you to get creative and learn about sustainable upcycling.  
Events are held at four of our different libraries: Get your hands into paper mache at St Andrews, make 3D native birds at Chartwell, learn how to sew a bee at Dinsdale Library and even make your own marble run at Glenview. Check out the full list below to see all that you can do! 

Branch weaving

In this workshop, kids will use a forked branch as a loom to create wonderful and colourful art pieces.

Craft then collage native birds using upcycled tissue and card.

We’ll be creating native bird cutouts and then attaching them to small branches against a beautiful painted backdrop.

Learn to make your own stamp and then print with it!

Marble Runs

In this workshop kids will learn how to safely cut cardboard and assemble parts together to create tunnels and rails for marbles.

Practice stick-wrapping and threading to make a nature wall hanging using natural materials.
