Begin your pixilated journey through the exciting and simplistically complex (or complicatedly simple) world of Pixel Art! Whether you would like to create a simple sprite or try your hand at pixelating the Mona Lisa, we can help you create the pixel-perfect project of your dreams! From tiny sprites to big masterpieces, learn how to bring your ideas to life in our Pixel Perfect Workshop. No experience needed – just pixels and imagination!

Please note:

This workshop is suitable for children aged 8 and above. Registration is compulsory. The workshop will be held in the Kathleen Glenn Room at the Central Library on Level 2, and will also be conducted online via Microsoft Teams simultaneously.

Successful sign-ups will receive a Microsoft Teams Meeting ID and instructions. Participants must ensure that their username matches the name on their registration, as we will not admit online participants who do not comply with this requirement.

Participants are recommended to bring their own laptops if attending in person. A limited number of library laptops will be available for use during the workshop. Please specify on the registration form if you are unable to bring your own laptop.

Please note children under 14 must always be accompanied by a caregiver in our libraries.
