Do you know someone who is unable to visit your local library due to temporary or permanent disability or illness? The library can come to them! Just let us know and someone from the library will visit to evaluate their needs and find out their reading, watching or listening interests.
Library staff will select items based on their interests, and library volunteers will deliver and pick them up every four weeks on a Tuesday morning.
People can use our service permanently, or temporarily if short-term situations prevent you from visiting the library in person for health and wellbeing reasons.
This service is available to all ages who reside in their own homes, as well as in care homes, retirement villages or rest homes.
