What is it?
This Bernina 500 Embroidery Machine is an exclusively embroidery-only machine. An embroidery machine is used for artistic embroidery, a decorative art form that involves sewing intricate designs on a piece of fabric.
The embroidery machine alternates weekly between the Auaha Makerspaces at Central Library and Te Kete Aronui. Please contact the Auaha Librarians to confirm where the embroidery machine is available when you wish you use it.
Tiffany can stitch your own custom designs once they have been through a digitising process. Talk to the friendly Auaha Librarian at Auaha Central Library about how to start your embroidery journey and make a booking to use the Embroidery Machine.
There is no cost to use Tiffany or the embroidery supplies, but please bring the items/material you wish to embroider.
