About the authors:
Pat Backley is an English woman who, at the age of 59, decided to become a Kiwi and she now lives in Auckland.
Passionate about people and travelling the world, she has spent the last 75 years living a colourful and interesting life and her books reflect these passions. She published her first book DAISY in late 2020, just before her 70th birthday, and now she can’t stop writing!
She has published 11 books in various genres including Historical Fiction, Crime, Memoirs and Travel and has contributed to several anthologies, as well as writing articles and short stories for various magazines and has several more books in the pipeline.
Nikki Perry and Kirsty Roby are sisters, best friends and co-writers who have published seven novels. Their books are quirky, laugh out loud funny, romantic comedies.
They are both in their 50s with three grown up children. Kirsty’s all still live at home, while Nikki, the lucky tart has managed to extradite all of hers. They love to travel together, eating, researching and cold water swimming.
Recently they developed a love for ice hockey and are the founding members of the Admirals Admirers, following their local team, the West Auckland Admirals.
Johanna M Rae is a former fashion designer, wife, and mother. She lives with her family, and two adorable ragdoll cats. Balancing family life and her writing schedule doesn't always leave much time for leisure, but in the quiet moments, Johanna can be found with her nose in a book or crocheting up a storm.
There is a common theme when you read Johanna's stories. Underdogs and outcasts form a 'chosen family' - people with something to prove or overcome, who will stop at nothing to protect their own. You'll also be knee-deep in suspense, plot twists, witty banter and plenty of humour. Don't forget the romance... You're not going to want to miss that! Until then, there is coffee to be had.
