Sign up for our six-week adult beginners’ sewing course and learn how to sew with sewing machines.

Over six classes, you will learn the basics of threading up a machine, sewing seams, using different stitches, and sewing simple projects. No experience is needed, and all materials are provided. From each class, you’ll go home with a different completed project, such as drawstring bags and scrunchies.

If you have some experience using sewing machines, you may be interested in our Intermediate Sewing Machine Workshop instead. The number of our library sewing machines is limited, so if you have your own sewing machine, we encourage you to bring it.

Please register for the 23 October - 27 November course using the form below.
