Opening up for business on Frankton's Main St

HCLE 00030tile

This flier promotes a new business opening on Main Street, Frankton on 14 April 1921. The business was opened by Mr C. Davidson. It wasn’t a dairy in the sense that we think of today, a small convenience store with a wide range of products, but more a specialist business selling eggs, cream, milk and butter. The shop would have been a prime location for stocking these products, due to the presence of the Frankton Butter Factory.  Main Street was renamed Commerce St in 1926.
