Triggs & Denton Ltd advertising catalogue

This week we have an advertising catalogue from Triggs & Denton Ltd. This catalogue dates from 1939 and the cover page states ‘A New Shop for Hamilton’. Triggs & Denton Ltd started in 1886 as saddlers and harness makers in Christchurch. Evidence of their expansion is shown on the left page, with stores across New Zealand from Dunedin to Hastings. Not only did they expand geographically, they expanded their range of goods to specialise in ‘gloves, fancy leather good and travelling requisites.’ Their Hamilton store was located at 54 Victoria Street.
