Promoting rugby games

As Super Rugby returns to FMG Stadium today, this week we are highlighting a rugby programme from 8 June 1963. Four separate games were played across two fields, with teams from across Hamilton competing for the Stag Trophy. The programme lists all the players for each team and the referees of each game, but what is almost as interesting is the advertising! The front page, shown here, has three advertisements for local companies, with many more spread throughout the other pages.
