Joan Marie Galat is an award-winning author whose career began at age 12 when she became a newspaper columnist. Now the author of more than 25 books, including a Canadian best seller, Joan invites students to explore STEM topics in her books. Joan will share her writing journey and offer ways to encourage students to enjoy reading and writing and to discover a love of STEM.
