Where has this house gone?
Driving about town, even walking, odd sights pop up when you least expect them. A recent one for me was a new office building on the corner of Forest lake and Te Rapa Roads. It may have been there a while but sometimes buildings that look new register with you and you wonder what was there before. Well, this house was there before and a very attractive house it is. Where did it go? Surely it wouldn’t have been demolished but it was stucco which may make transporting it a significant problem. One wonders, living in a house at such a location, what would the traffic noise be like? The intersection ahead is Victoria Street (out of shot) and Ulster Street. There appear to be no traffic lights. Now there’s a dilemma. A Fiat 1500 sits in the garage.
