Kirikiriroa Hamilton Zinefest is back at Hamilton City Libraries!
If you’re new to this kaupapa, Zines are short run, self-published magazines that allow your imagination to run wild! Full of comics, collage, fan-art, photo essays and more, Zines draw inspiration from anywhere and everywhere.
This year we have three workshops, lead by different Zine makers and with different topics.
Our Zinefest main event will be held at Hamilton Central Library on Saturday 17 May. Hamilton’s top creatives will be there to share their zines and other work. The loose change in your pocket will be enough to walk away with something amazing. Come along and have a look at the stalls and pop into our zine making area for adults and children to get your creative juices flowing. This years make-a-page theme is Super Villians.
