Firstly, you can register your interest with our team by filling out the form.
We will get in touch and discuss what you would like and be suited for, as well as your availability.
All of our volunteers need to undergo a police vetting, which can take up to 5 weeks, at which point you can be given an induction and are able to begin your volunteering.
If you have contact with people under 14, you will need a VCA (Vulnerable children's act) vetting, in addition to a police vetting. This can also take up to 5 weeks.
Talk to our team and we can help you pick from the options we have, or even come up with something brand new from your skills and experience! - You never know what people may want to join in on, the odds are that if it interests you, it interests someone else!
While volunteering doesn't come with pay, it is an amazing chance to give back to your community and follow your passions. Many of our current volunteers just love sharing a passion of theirs, like their hobbies or culture. Some also learn a lot, or just love supporting their community.
Volunteering can be great work experience and look great on your CV.
This is looked at on a case-by-case basis, but sometimes we are able to help by providing some basic resourcing, such as pens, paper, printing, use of AV equipment, free meeting rooms and spaces to use etc. We can also help with marketing of your business or services through our social media.
