In this workshop, you will learn the basics of creating a game using the coding platform Scratch!
Scratch is a website that uses coding blocks to teach people how to code animations and games.
This workshop is for ages eight and up, and you will need to have an email address or access to an email address to create a Scratch account. Feel free to bring your own device. The library will also have some laptops to use.
Please register for this workshop using the form below. Beginner workshops on Monday and Friday are for complete beginners (no experience), and intermediate workshops on Tuesday and Thursday are for people who think they’re for a bit of a challenge and want to push themselves further!!
Please note children under 14 must always be accompanied by a caregiver in our libraries.
