Due to major electrical maintenance work, Dinsdale Library will temporarily close from 1pm Saturday 2 March and will reopen on Monday 11 March. The after hours returns chute and APNK Wi-Fi at Dinsdale Library will also be unavailable during this time. In the lead up there will be preparation work which may result in extra noise.
Items can be returned to any of our other libraries during this time. The closest libraries are St Andrews Library, Glenview Library and Central Library.
Frequently Asked Questions
Any holds which are still waiting to be collected from Dinsdale Library on Saturday 2 March will automatically have their pick-up by date extended until 20 March, so they can be collected after the closure.
If your hold arrives during the closure period, library staff will contact you directly to ask if there's another library you would like it to be transferred to.

If you are unable to get to another library to return your items, and you are unable to renew them online, please contact us for an extension.
This maintenance work requires the building's electricity to be shut off. The returns chute requires power to detect and open for library items, and to scan them. Additionally, no library staff will be on-site during this period to clear the returns.
No, as the electricity for the building needs to be shut off during the maintenance work, APNK wi-fi will not be available. You can use free wi-fi at our other libraries.
