Maaori astronomer and maramataka toohunga, Piripi Lambert, is facilitating a free workshop as part of our Mahuru Maaori celebrations.
Piripi will share his knowledge of the whetuu (stars) and local Tainui knowledge. He’ll also talk about Te Maramataka (lunar calendar) and how Maaori navigate the world using this knowledge.
