The 7 stars of Matariki. Text says journey through the stars.

Tupuaanuku is the star connected to food grown in the ground. When Matariki sets in the western sky at dusk during the month of May, the harvesting of the garden has been completed and winter is near.

Come and plant some seeds at St Andrews Library which you can take home in a little pot that you decorate yourself. We will also be making tukutuku stars, a Maaori customary weaving art form using wool/string and pegboard.
