Do you enjoy page-turning reads from terrific storytellers? Are you swept away by captivating characters, twisting storylines, and tales full of crime, mystery, and thrills, whether fictional or factual?

The Ngaio Marsh Awards, in association with Hamilton Libraries, invites booklovers to a fascinating evening of criminally good conversation featuring five talented Kiwi storytellers.

Bestselling Waikato novelist and historian Deborah Challinor MNZM will be joined by local historical mystery author Jenny Harrison, police detective turned writer Chook Henwood, international award-winning thriller and horror writer Lee Murray ONZM, and journalist and past Ngaios finalist Jared Savage for a fun and fascinating korero on storytelling full of dark deeds.

Gail Pittaway, an anthology editor and Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing, Storytelling, Myth and Ritual, and Media Theory at Wintec, will maintain order and hold the offenders accountable.

This is a free event with tea and coffee provided, no registration required.
