BookLink App

BookLink is a secure lending library app provided by Blind + Low Vision NZ (formerly Blind Foundation) that allows people who are blind, have low vision or who have a print disability to download audiobooks. In order to use BookLink, you must be registered with Blind + Low Vision NZ as a member or associate member.

Digital Library

We have eBooks and eAudiobooks which are electronic versions of printed books, or recordings of a book read aloud. These can be downloaded and read or listened to on a computer, or mobile device like a tablet or smartphone. Many also feature accessibility features such as playback speed, font size and type, and night vision.

Memory Care Collection

The Poipoi Mahara - Memory Care collection has books and other items to support carers and persons experiencing cognitive decline, most commonly known as dementia.

The collection has materials for all stages of dementia, including literature that is cognitively stimulating for adult readers, photo books, and aids or activities to prompt memories and conversation.
