We are collecting stories from the COVID-19 Level 4 lockdown and we'd love to hear from you!

What did you think about being at home all the time?

What did you do during lockdown? Did you learn a new skill?

How did you feel about not going to school/work?

Who were you in lockdown with?

Where were you in lockdown? Were you at home?

Download or pick up a template from any one of our libraries, write/draw your story and return it by Friday 28 August. You can drop off your copy in person, or email it to heritage@hcc.govt.nz

Once we have collected all your wonderful stories, we will be creating a display at the Central Library and a digital exhibition here on our website.

Please note that the stories will then be added to our community archive collection for long-term historical value.
