• The criteria for the competition (the Promotion), including how to enter, number and type of prizes available, and the dates of the Promotion are made public in a post on Hamilton City Libraries' (the Promoter) Facebook page, Instagram account, and/or website.

  • Entrants consent and agree that their competition entries, including images, can be used by the Promoter for promotional purposes, including online.

  • Employees of Hamilton City Council and their immediate families are not eligible to participate at any time. “Immediate families” means the husband, wife, spouse, parents, siblings, and children (including step-parents, -siblings and -children). The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of an entrant's eligibility in the event that there is a doubt over their eligibility for the Promotion.

  • The Promotion is offered by Hamilton City Libraries of 9 Garden Place, Hamilton, New Zealand.

  • The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to notify the prize winner within seven (7) days of the end of competition. If the winner/s cannot be contacted through the social media account used to enter the Promotion within this time frame, then the prize will be given to the next runner up/s.

  • The prize winner (or a person nominated by the prize winner) must be able to collect the prize in person from one of Hamilton City Libraries’ locations.

  • Entrants are identified by the social media account used.  Any prize won will be awarded to the owner of the account from which the entry was submitted.  The Promoter takes no responsibility for disputes arising because of entries, including images, belonging to any other person than the entrant.

  • The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, damaged, misdirected, late or illegible entries, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access telecommunications network services, or any other error or malfunction.
